Through an investigation of the achievements and experience gained by the Hainan Geological Party of the South China Geological Exploration Bureau of China Nuclear Industry in their efforts to find a way out through tapping the market, the report concludes there are three essential requirements for the geological prospecting units to turn to the market: 1) establishment of an operating mechanism adapting to market economy; 2) going to the market in an all-round way according to each own's actual conditions; and 3) selection of a capable leader for the move.
