新办地方高校要改变过去高教中技术与艺术脱节、理性与感性分离的积弊,培养全面发展的人才,必须重视美育。开设美学课程是美育的中心环节,它有益于学生审美观念的培养和引导;有益于完善学生知识结构;有益于培养艺术兴趣,优化思维品质;有益于形成学校审美教育的场效应,产生社会幅射等等。美学教育应贯彻灌输与诱导、学习与应用相结合的原则,努力提高学生的审美修养和审美能力。
