摘要 迄今为止,有关硒自内障的报告很多,但它与老年性白内障的关系尚不明确。一般认为氧化损伤是白内障形成的主要原因。在正常代谢或某些应激状态下,晶体内会产生过氧化氢和脂质过氧化物并且主要靠谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶来消除这些过氧化物。硒是人体所必需的微量元素,它参与构成谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶的活性中心。一般认为,晶体中谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶的活性与硒含量呈正相关。曾有报道。 Catsract is the commom cause of blindness all over the world,but the mecha- nism of cataract formatiom remains unknown.Nutritiom status is comsidered to relate to catara- ot form atiom.we determined the level of selenium,am essential trace element,in lemses and sera of person with and without senile cataract,and found that the level of selenium in the sera of persons with senile cataract was lower than that in the sera of normal persons,but contents of selenium in lenses have no significant difference between normal and cataractc-us.These results.irdcated that the intake of selenium by persons with senile cataract was lers than that by no(?)mal,this perhaps is a cause of cataract formation.
