This paper derives in detail a covariance matrix of higher-order points and lower-order points when considering the effects of the higher-order net's error, by which the error ellipse of the lower-order points and the relative error ellipse between the higher-order points and the lower-order points can be computed. A practical example is given to illustrate its application.
