The paper offers the Mantel-Haenszel procedure of estimating common rate ratio and variance of its logarithm form incidence density data in cohort studies. The tests for heterogeneity and tread in the component rate ratios are discussed. The methods may be used to control confounding factors and analyse interaction for incidence data in cohort with dichotomus variables. The methods were also summarized into the method of calculating table in order to present a simple,convenient and easily un-dersfood method for the readers.
