摘要
The in-situ forming TiB_2 reinforced Al composite was favorably prepared by reaction- sintering of pure Al,Ti and B powders under vacuum.The TiB_2 is of submicrosize and free from lattice defect in the main.A superior room,temperature strength and modulus, as well as good elevated temperature properties were obtained as comparison with that of pure Al.
