摘要
In this article,Mr.Ma Henian,vice director of the State Meteoro-Iogical Administration describes themeteorological satellite data receiv-ing and processing capabilities ofthe Satellite Meteorology Center ofState Meteorological Administra-tion.Based on this,it shows therole and the benefits of the meteo-rological satellite in the national e-conomic construction.At the lastpart of the article,it points out thatChina will establish its own polarorbiting and geostationary meteoro-logical satellite series in the 1990s.Through receiving & utilizing for-eign meteorological satellite dataand developing its own meteoroiogi-cal satellites,China’s satellite mete-orology would have a significantdevelopment and enter into a newstage.
