A Study of "Geili" Constructions

"给力"作为流行语,使用频率颇高,且用法较为灵活。考察"给力"一词的句法功能可以发现,"给力"主要做谓语,并具备典型动词的句法语义特征。从认知角度看,四种"给力构式"都是在同一认知模式的基础上产生的。多样化的"给力构式"在一定程度上决定着"给力"的高使用频率。

'Geili' as a buzz phrase is used frequently and flexibly.An investigation of the syntactic features of the phrase reveals that it is mainly used as predicate and has the typical syntactic and semantic features of a verb.From the cognitive perspective,the four 'geili' constructions derived from the same cognitive pattern.Diversified 'geili' constructions determine to a certain extent the high frequency of its use.
