A previous fluoride separation by distillation in the presence of H_2SO_4 and H_2O_2 in dry air steam is described. The variables that influence distillation quantitation are optimized. The precision of the procedure is significant and the accuracy of the method is statistically satisfactory. The method has been applied to the analysis of plant samples.
