MEBO FOR TREATING 11 CASES OF BROMINE BURN

溴素烧伤是一种特殊类型的化学烧伤,在处理上有其特殊性,处理不当会导致严重后果。作者自1989年10月份以来应用MEBO治疗溴素烧伤病人11例,所有病人均取得满意疗效,无一例留有疤痕及出现溴素中毒症状。作者通过治疗分析提出,溴素烧伤病人应首选MEBO治疗。

Bromine burn is a kind of chemical burn. There are some special points for attention in the treatment of bromine burn. Improper treatment of bromine burn may lead to grave consequences. The author treated 11 cases of bromine burn using MEBO. All the patients healed. The results were very satisfactory. No scar formed and no bromine intoxication occurred. The author recommends that MEBO be the remedy of first choice for treating bromine burn.
