河北省围场县四棵树乡沸石岩的基本特征及其在肉鸡饲养中的应用

ESSENTIAL FEATURES OF ZEOLITE AND ITS APPLICATION TO POULARD BREEDING IN SIKESHU TOWNSHIP,WEICHANG COUNTY,HEBEI PROVINCE

本文分析研究了围场县天然沸石岩的矿体特征、矿物组合、化学成分、有毒有害元素及微量元素特征,并与原苏联把沸石用作矿物饲料添加剂而制定的临时技术指标相比较,对该地沸石岩进行了全面的质量综合评价。对3500只肉鸡进行的饲养试验表明,它可以节省饲料粮,提高饲料转化率和成活率,从而达到增加经济效益的目的。

The zeolite beds occur in obsidian,perlite,rhyolite,ignimbrite and tuf- fite of the upper and the middle part of the Third Member of Late Jurassic Zhang Jiakou Formation.There aro two layers of zeolite.The first layer embedded in the middle part of the Third Member of Zhangjiakou Forma- tion has 70—80% clinoptilolite and is 25—30 m in thickness.The primary rock is perlite.The second layer,mostly variegated and breccial,with 45— 65% clinoptilolite and a thickness of 159.66—206.78 m exists in the upper part of the Third Member of Zhangjiakou Formation.The primary rock is ignimbrite with lithic and vitric fragments. The comprehensive index of zeolite powder made from the first laver of zeolite is superior to that specified in USSR.It can be used as fodder addi- tive in animal husbandry.Several year's experiments show that an addition of increased their weight 3—5% zeolite powder to everyday fodder for the test group poulard by 1—2% and decreased the consumption of everyday fodder by 4—9%,as against the coparison group(with no zeolite powder added).Also there is a rise of 2—3% of survial rate.As a result,the econo- mic profit often goes up to 4—5%,sometimes even up to 10%.In addition, zeolite powder as fodder additive has no side effect on poulard.
