医疗服务费用包括门诊医药费用和住院医药费用。本文根据对上海县1980年至1990年各级医疗机构医疗服务和莘庄医院住院病例调查,反映上海县1980年以来医疗费用变化趋势和现状,分析上海县居民门诊和住院医疗服务的利用及费用的水平与变动,为有效控制医药费用过速增长、合理组织医疗服务提供参考。

A survey, on medical care costs in Shanghai County has been conducted. The study was designated to invest the medical care costs and its trends between year 1980 and 1990, to analyze the use and fees of outpatient and inpatient services, in order, to give a reference on how to rationalise the medical services and the use of medical resources.The study shows the medical costs in Shanghai County increased by 11.62 per cent per year since 1980, and reached 19,04 million Yuan by 1990. Per capita medical costs were 11.47, 27.7, and 45.76.Yuan in year 1980, 1985, and 1990 respectively.Medical care costs were not in accord With the amount of medical services provided in Shanghai County. For every 100 residents, the number of admissions decreased from 5.07 in 1965 to 1.86 in 1990. while their eosts increased from 448 Yuan in 1935 to 968 Yuan in 1990.The study also shows that some haspitals of township, level had much higher length of stay than county hospitals; medicines account for more than half the total medical costs.
