近几年,天津市西瓜生产发展较快,种植面积扩大并趋于稳定,单产显著提高,普遍采用了良种,覆盖栽培形成系列化,使本地西瓜供应期明显延长。同时还存在一些问题,西瓜上市期不够均衡,传统瓜区因倒茬困难,种植面积减少,基地化生产不够健全。针对这些问题应积极采取措施,如:排开播种均衡供应,发展瓜菜、瓜粮间作稳定西瓜面积.积极推广新技术:嫁接栽培,抗逆栽培,无籽西瓜栽培技术和规范化栽培技术。
