The Development of Dadong Harbour in Dandong and Liaodong Peninsula's Opening to Foreign Countries

本文分析了丹东大东港的建港条件,港口与腹地的相互作用以及港口在区域经济发展中的地位.在此基础上进一步论证了大东港和东北东部铁路建设是辽东半岛全面开放和整个东北地区发展战略实施的重要部分,对大东港港口工业区开发提出了建设性意见.

This paper analyses the circumstances under which Dadong Harbour in Dandong was constructed, the interaction between the harbour and island and position in the district economical development, its argues that the construction of Dadong Harbour and the railway on the east of Northeast is important for Liaodong peninsula's and is a visal part of the strategy for developing the whole district of Northeast. It also puts forward some constructire suggestions for the development of Dadong Harboar's industrial zone.
