为了摸索新西兰罗姆尼羊在我国早龄繁殖的途径,于1987～1989年进行了早龄繁殖试验.结果表明,罗姆尼羊在良好的营养条件下,选择7～9月龄当年母羊,提早配种,实行早龄产羔,增加终身繁殖力,提早发挥经济效益,是完全可行和有益的.

The early reproduction experiments were conducted on Romney Marsh dur-ing the year of 1987～1989.The results showed that with good nutrition,thelifetime reproductivity of the owes could be improved by mating atthe age of7～9 months and producing lambs.
