The Area Prediction of Circuit Layout and the Adjustment of Buffer Cells

本文介绍了在兼容宏单元的标准单元模式下进行自动布图设计结果的面积预测及缓冲单元(Buffer)调整的方法。该方法一方面对布局设计及Buffer的位置确定具有重要意义,另一方面对布图的规划和分级设计有着重要的价值。原则上这些方法也可适用于其它模式。

The method of area prediction and buffer cells adjustment for automatic layout design result are introduced in tne model of standard cell compatible macro cell. These methods have important significances for the placement design and the determining position of the buffer and for the placement schene and hierarchical design. In principle, these methods can be used in other models.
