The yields of the charmed mesons in e^+e^- annihilations have been calculated in virtue of the quark production rule and quark combination rule proposed in Ref. [1]. The results are in agreement with the experimental data, which shows that the mechanism for e^+e^- annihilation into hardons is successful.
