摘要
The nonlinear differential equations governing the postbuckling equilibrium state of toroidal shells in the large-deflection range and the asymptotic solutions of the equations are derived in this paper. The theory of postbuckling behaviour of toroidal shells is investigated systematically for the first time. The results of theoretical calculation are in reasonable agreement with experimental results obtained by Fishlowitz.
