The Problem of Ecological Environment in China and its Resolution——On Chen Yun's thoughts of ecological environment

陈云同志不仅对我国的经济建设和经济理论工作做出了重大贡献,而且十分关注我国的生态环境问题。他认为,我国的生态环境存在着水量不够,且分布不平衡,资源短缺以及污染重等问题。这些问题的出现是多因素共同作用的结果,既有人口多、资源短缺,而环境保护和治理滞后的问题,又有传统经营运作方式导致污染的问题。为此,他提出要做好水利工作、控制人口、改革经营方式、治理污染等一系列解决对策。陈云的生态环境思想对于我们认识和解决当代中国的生态环境问题具有重大指导意义。

Besides his great contribution to the economic building and economic theories,Chen Yun also concerned much about the ecological environment in China.According to him,there are not a few problems in China about ecological environment,such as the shortage and imbalanced distribution of water resources,serious lack of various resources and bad pollution.They are the results of many factors including,on one hand,over-population,lack of resources,stagnation of environmental protection;on the other,the pollution resulted from the traditional operation methods.To deal with it,he suggested that we should attach importance to irrigation,keep the increase of population under control,reform operation methods,control pollution,to name a few.
