连南县1987年汉、瑶族主要死因分析

Major Causes of Death of the People of the Han and Yao Natonalities: A Retrospective Study in Liannan County in 1987

本文通过连南县1987年758例死者回顾性调查资料表明:汉、瑶族在死因构成、平均死亡年龄和婴儿死亡率方面存在较明显差异。瑶族新生儿死亡率略高于汉族。传染病仍是威胁瑶胞健康的主要疾病之一。瑶族死亡率高与其卫生条件、经济文化和生活习俗等因素有关。

758 persons who died in 1987 were investigated by retrospective study method in Liannan County. The results indicated that there were obvious differences between the people of the Han and Yao Nationalities in this county in many aspects, such as the cause of death order, average death age and infant mortality. The newborn mortality of Yao was a little higher than that of Han. It is concluded that infectious disease is one of the main diseases which threaten the Yao people. High mortality of the Yao people has relation to their bad health condition, economic and cultural circumstance, life style and so on.
