摘要 Theoretically the nonlinear optical effect is produced by the interaction of laser field and atoms or molecules of nonlinear media. By using pertubation theory associated with density matrix theory, the molecular nonlinear second-order optical susceptibility β<sub>ijk</sub>(-2ω, ω, ω) can be induced as follows:
