摘要 It is very interesting to study the physical adsorption of gas or vapour on the surface of porous solids. We can recognize the surface area, pore structure of solids and also the morphology and structure of adsorbed layers through investigations on physical adsorption. By using a precision calorimeter made by ourselves, the heat capacity measurements for water vapour adsorbed on various adsorbents such as different γ-Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, silica and zeolite were made and some interesting results obtained.
