摘要
A wear-resistant tinless silicon-bronze was developed by the researchersfrom Harbin University of Technology andQiqihar No.1 Machine Tool Plant,on thebasis of a series of experiments wherebyto study the effect of RE and otheralloy additions on the microstructure ofbronze.It can be used as a substitutefor tin bronze.This Si-bronze alloy,with RE and someother additives,shows higher strengthand toughness,better wear resistanceand casting properties,simpler meltingand casting processes,compared with thetraditional bronze.
