AN HYPOTHESIS ON THE FUNCTIONAL EVOLUTION IN THE NEOCORTEX OF THE MAMMALIAN BRAIN

摘要 根据脊椎动物脑的比较研究成果,H.J.Karten搏士提出一种关于哺乳类新皮层来源的机能进化学说。认为哺乳类新皮层的神经元回路早就存在于非哺乳类脊椎动物端脑的背侧室嵴(DVR)之中。在长期进化历程中,DVR的一些核团,包括外纹体核心部(Ec),围外纹体(Ep),新纹体中间外侧部(NIL)和古纹体中间部(Ai)的细胞及其核间连系获得了层状配布特征,从而形成了哺乳类的新皮层。 It is on the basis of results of the comparative research of the vertebrate brain advance an hypothesis no the functional evolution in the neocortex of the brain of the mammalian. It is proposed neural circuits should exist in the dorsal ventricular ridge ( DVR ) of the telencephalon of the nonmammalia vertebrate long ago. Several nuclei of the DVR, included in the ectostriatum core region (Ec) and the periectostriatum (Ep), the neostriatum intermedium lateral ( NIL ) , the archistriatum intermedium ( Ai ), and among their neural circuits get a property of laminar organization in the evolutional process.
