Studies on Thin-Layer Drying Rates of Corn

在自制的垂直式薄层干燥实验装置上进行了玉米薄层干燥实验,研究了风温、风速以及原始水分对干燥速率的影响,并对实验数据进行了线性回归及非线性逐步回归,建立了适合机械通风及辅助加热范围内的玉米薄层干燥方程,为进一步研究深床干燥过程提供了理论基础。

The authors of this paper carry out tests on drying of thin corn layer with a self-making vertical thin layer drying apparatus and study the effects of air temperature, air velocity and initial moisture content on drying rate. In this paper a thin layer drying equation for corn has been established through analysis into the parameters by linear regression procedure and nonlinear step by step regression procedure, which is suitable for aeration and aeration with added-heating and provides the basic theory for further study on the drying process of deep beds.
