直流电治疗恶性肿瘤127例的临床效果

RESULT OF 127 CASES OF MALIGNANT TUMOR TREATED WITH DIRECT CURRENT THERAPY

本文报告直流电治疗恶性肿瘤127例,有效率为77.1％。对不适于外科手术及放疗、化疗的病例,特别是中晚期癌症有一定治疗效果。直流电最佳治疗对象是体表肿瘤,也可治疗内脏肿瘤,但不适用于全身转移癌。临床和实验证明,本疗法操作简便、安全有效,为治疗恶性肿瘤增添了新的手段。

One hundred and twenty-seven cases of malignant tumor were treated with D. C. (direct electric current). Total effectiveness was 77. 1%. It was effective to the cases which were not indicative for surgery, chemo-or radiotherapy, especially those with eaners of middle stage. The best indication of D. C. therapy were patients with superficial tumors, such as: breast, thyroid, skin cancer, malignant melanoma etc. It is also suitable for the treatment of patients with viserltumors, such as: lung, liver, anus and adrenal carcinoma etc., but not for those with generalized metastasis. Electrolytes inserted in tumor tissue are markebly changed under D. C. action. NaCl, NaHCO_3, H_2O etc are eJectrolyzed at anode, and at the sametime chlorine, hydrogen ions are released. Those are so powerful that proteinis coagulated and denaturated. Anode area localized in tumor center is with strong acidity (pH1～2), dehydrated and charred. Na is attracted by cathode located peripherally to the tumor tissue, to outer part of tumor tissue where edema occured and capillaries embolized. This causes obstruction of blood and oxygen supply to tumor tissue. Cathode area is with strong alkalinity (pH 10～12). All these electrochemical changes destroyed living environment of tumors which are then asphyxiated and killed. Experiment and clinical study demonstated that D. C. therapy is safe, effective and simple to do. It is to be a new method for the treatment of malignant tumors.
