Some general materials for the grinding balls and lining boards in ball mills of cement industry were reviewed. For reducing the breaking, wearing, lossing round of the grinding balls and the Wearing, breaking, deformation of the lining boards, the best Coordination between wearing resitance and toughness and the material selection of the grinding ball and lining boards were discussed.
