摘要彗星的观测研究是当代天文学的前沿领域之一,而对哈雷彗星的观测又是其中最为注目的内容。《哈雷彗星观测研究的进展评述》就国际哈雷彗星联测(IHW)对1985～1986年哈雷彗星回归的观测研究结果作了评述,颇有价值。
