价格弹性对销售收入的影响

摘要 本文利用函数增量的方法,对在弹性区ε_P<-1时销售收入随价格下降而上升,随价格的上升而下降;在非弹性区ε_P>-1时,销售收入价格随价格的下降而下降,随价格的上升而上升;在单一弹性点,ε_P=-1时,价格对销售收入没有影响。这三个重要规律从定量的角度作出了清晰的解释,并说明一般情况下不宜在非弹性区降价的原因。可作为企业决定自己的价格策略时参考。 Using function increment, this essay gives a clear explanation of the following three important laws at the angle of definite quantity. 1 ) During εp <- 1 , the sales income goes up while the price goes down and vice -versa. 2 ) During εp >- 1, the sales income goes down while the price goes down and it goes up while the price goes up. 3 ) when εp= - 1 ,the price doesn' t exert any effect on the sales income. This essay provides a clear explanation why it is not good ( non - profit -making)to lower the price during εp >-l in general circumstances. This essay can be aguide for the enterprise in deciding its price policy.
