As a tool for self-identification,the imagery of mirror appears frequently in children′s literature. They reflect the author′s contemplation on "oneself" and "other" in different forms.Mirror is not only a tool for self-identification,but also an image to represent other′s opinion because it conveys others′ requests and imposes social rules on the individual.Besides, mirror also challenges the concept of reality through reflection and similitude, and implies the existence of an "invisible world".
