老年性糖尿病245例临床分析

Diabetics Mellitus in Aged:Clinical Analysis of 245 Cases

本文总结了我院近9年住院病人中60岁以上的糖尿病245例,占住院糖尿病人的46.1%。老年糖尿病起病隐匿,常规检测血糖是早期诊断的重要方法。老年病人并发症、并存症多,死亡率高(本组达20%)。心脏、血管疾病的并发率及病死率均占首位,防治这些并发症是降低死亡率的关键。并对低血糖反应及高渗性昏迷伴急性脑血管意外作了重点讨论。

A total of 245 cases of aged diabetic were studied in our hospital from 1980 to 1989.All patients were over 60 years old.Since diabetic symptoms are not obvious in old patients,routine measurement of blood glucose is an effective method in early diagnosis.There are more complications in the aged.And the mortality is high(20% in this group)Most complications are cardiopulminary diseases and they cause the highest mortality in diabe- tics.The key to reduce the mortality is to prevent and treat these compli- cations.This paper discusses hypoglucemic and hyperosmolar nonketotic dia- betic coma complicated with acute apoplexy.
