培养的人胎盘细胞能被HSV-2感染

摘要 单纯疤疹病毒-2型(HSV-2)是某些新生儿先天性畸形和自发性流产的原因。为评估HSV-2感染人胎盘的可能性,用培养的人胎盘细胞被该病毒感染。敏感的抗补体免疫荧光(ACIF)法显示,感染的胎盘细胞有强烈的核荧光。故推测,HSV-2在体内有时可能先感染胎盘组织后再感染胎儿。 Herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) is a cause of congenital abnormalities in the newborn and sometimes spontaneous abortion in the early stage of gestation. To evaluate HSV-2 infection of human plcental tissues in vivo, the cultured human placental cells were infected by HSV-2 in vitro. The infected placental cells showed strong nuclear immunofluoresence by the anti-complement immunofluorescence (ACIF) which is more sensitive for detecting the herpes simplex virus specific nuclear antigen than indirect immunofluorescence, It is possible that the placental tissues infected by HSV-2 during gestation might be as a reservoir for the virus which then infect the fetus.
