"Despite Efforts of the Mountains,the River Keeps Flowing Eastward": Zengjian’s Unknown Works and Anecdotes

作为黄侃弟子的著名学者曾缄,以其所译仓央嘉措情诗于近年开始重新走进读者的视野。然而,有关其生平著述,至今尚无一文介绍,更遑论研究。经多方搜检,本文拼凑出一个模糊的曾缄,虽面影斑驳,却初具轮廓。附录的诗文,既是本文无法割舍的一部分,也是展开深入论述的起点和基础。

The famous scholar Zengjian, the student of Huangkan, who translated Tsangyang Gyatso＇s amatory poems comes to the attentions of readers again recently. However, there are few works or researches introducing him. This thesis makes a profile of Zengjian＇s lifetime by hard searching and summing up the related information, fuzzy but fruitful. The poems in the appendix are unseparated from the thesis, which are the sources and base of the research.
