A New Early Maturing Peach Cultivar‘Zaohongtao’

‘早红桃’是人工杂交培育的早熟桃新品种。花器官发育完全,能自花结实,需冷量543h。果实圆球形,单果质量136.6g,大者可达200g。果面有片状红晕,果肉白色,软溶质,可食率95%以上,品质佳,可溶性固形物10.5%,总酸2.62g·kg-1,粘核。果实发育期70d左右,在四川盆地丘陵区5月下旬—6月上旬果实成熟,产量稳定。

‘Zaohongtao’is an early maturing peach cultivar with 543 h chilling requirement bred by artificial pollination. The flower is showy with much pollen. It is self-fruitful and the yield is high and stable. The fruit is near round,weights 136.6 g,and fully covered by rose red when ripening. The flesh is white,melting,with 10.5% soluble solids content and 2.62% total titratable acid content. The stone is cling. The fruit development period is about 70 days. It ripens in later May-early June in Sichuan basin,China.
