扩大词汇量是提高高职高专学生英语综合应用能力的关键。通过实例把词汇学的一般规则引入英语教学中,提高学生学习词汇的效率,为学生英语综合能力的提高打好基础。

Expanding vocabulary is the key to improving the higher vocational students＇ comprehensive ability to us English. In this paper, the author introduced some effective methods in vocabulary teaching. The purpose is to improve the learnig efficiency and to lay the groundwork for students＇compre- hensive ability to use English.
