Study on "Standards for Accreditation of Master's Programs in Library & Information Studies"

美国图书馆协会是美国教育部批准的唯一的图书馆学情报学学位认可机构,美国图书馆协会制定的相关认可标准《图书馆学情报学硕士学位认可标准》自1925年发布第1版以来,经过7次修订,已成为图书馆学情报学教育发展与质量评估的依据。美国图书馆学会制定该标准的目的在于指引图书馆学情报学硕士学位教育的方向,并保证其教学质量。

As the only department charged for the accreditation of master＇s programs in library and information science accredited by American Department of Education, American Library Association has issued ＂Standards for Accreditation of Master＇s Programs in Library ＆ Information Studies＂. From the first standard issued in 1925, it has been revised seven times, and has already become the basis of educational development and quality evaluation of library and information science. The purpose of American Library Association formulating ＂Standards for Accreditation of Master＇s Programs in Library ＆ Information Studies＂ is guaranteeing the master educational direction of library and information science and the quality of teaching.
