本体是从根本上决定人与世界的存在及其意义的东西。真正成为本体的"本体"即具有形而上意味的"本体",既与人密切相关,又与自然万物密切相关,因此,我们所说的本体实际上就是隐含于广义的生态系统中最为根本的东西。生态美学就是以生态为哲学本体而以生态美为美学本体的美学。生态美学的基本内涵与生态哲学观的基本内涵、基本原则密切相关,生态美学的实践意义除了对人的物质生产活动和精神生产活动有指导意义或影响作用之外,还表现在有利于健康人格的塑造、有助于美好人生的建构。

The basic connotation of ecological esthetics is closely related to that of the ecology philosophy. Its practice sig- nificance guides and influences human＇ s physical and intellectual production activities and is also helpful to construct his healthy personality and happy life.
