摘要
本文利用半地转近似和运行波方法研究了地球物理流体(大气和海洋)中的非线性Rossby波,它们满足KdV方程.
In this paper, the semi-geostrophic approximation and the travelling wave method are used to study nonlinear Rossby waves in the geophysical fluids (the atmosphere and ocean). It is found that the waves satisfy the well-known KdV (Korteweg-de Vries) equation, the bounded periodic solution of which is cnoidfll waves. Under certain conditions the cnoidal waves degenerate into the solitary waves.
