摘要
提起“设计大师”，很多人只知道菲利普·斯塔克（Philipe Stark），却没听说过迪特尔·拉姆斯（Dieter Rams），因为他和他的设计一样低调，不张扬。事实上他却是从包豪斯到当代设计中承上启下的一个重要人物，也是影响非常深远的设计大师，他的很多代表作品已经完成了由“经典”到“日常”的蜕变。
Dieter Rams is widely regarded as one of the most influential industrial designers of our time.Many of his works have achieved iconic status,while his ideas—in particular his advocacy for 'less but better' design—have proved formative for a contemporary culture concerned with design ethics and sustainability.From August 27,2011,through February 20,2012,the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art(SFMOMA) will present the exhibition 'Less and More:The Design Ethos of Dieter Rams'.
