虚拟地理环境的本体论与价值论问题

The Ontology of Virtual Geographical Environment

从哲学的高度对虚拟地理环境进行反思,探讨其本体论及相关问题具有重要理论意义。文章对虚拟地理环境的本体论特征、方法论意义和价值论及相关问题进行了探讨:(1)虚拟地理环境是一种区别于真实地理环境的"存在";(2)虚拟地理环境是与数字技术相关的一种地理现象,是"数字化的地理环境";(3)虚拟地理环境中的实在感与真实地理环境中的实在感有本体论上的区别,具有技术依赖性、非全息性、构建层面不一致的特点;(4)虚拟地理环境中的实践与真实地理环境的实践不具有本体论上的对等性;(5)虚拟地理环境从实践的本质上讲具有哲学上的局限性。

Profound consideration on the virtual geographic environment from a philosophical perspective to explore its ontological issues will be a front - line and challenging matter and of theoretical significance. We discuss several questions of ontology of virtual geographical environment, and some issues related to it such as methodology, axiology and so on in this paper as follows： （ 1 ） Virtual geographic environment is a ＂being＂, but is different from real geo- graphical environment as a ＂being＂ ; （2） Virtual geographical environment has a close connection with the digital technology and is a ＂digital geographic environment＂ in fact; （ 3 ） The sense of reality in virtual geographic environ- ment is different in the sense of reality in actual geographical environment from an ontological perspective; （4）Practice in virtual geographic environment is not of ontological equity to practice in real geographical environment; （5） Virtual geographic environment is of philosophical limitations, and the value of virtual geographic experiment based on VGE remains yet to be measured.
