小额贷款公司经营有效率吗--基于42家小额贷款公司数据的分析

Does Micro-Credit Company' Operation is Efficient?——Evidence from 42 Micro Credit Companies

本文采用数据包络分析(DEA)方法分析2010年中国42家小额贷款公司的生产效率。研究发现,中国小额贷款公司的整体效率水平较高,且效率水平的地区差异不明显。对于低效率的小额贷款公司,纯技术效率较低是引起其低效率的主要原因,说明小额贷款公司还需要不断改善经营管理水平;小额贷款公司多处于规模报酬递增阶段,扩大规模有利于提高小额贷款公司的效率;小额贷款公司的生产效率随成立时间的增长呈U型变化。

This paper analysis the operation efficiency of 42 micro credit company by data envelopment analysis （DEA） method. Studies show that micro credit companies have high efficiency value, and the difference of efficiency between regions is not clear. Low efficiency of micro credit companies was caused by low pure technical efficiency, which means that micro credit companies need to improve their management continually. Most micro credit companies were in increasing returns to scale stage and enlarging the scale can improve the efficiency of micro credit company. The change of micro credit company＇ s operation efficiency looks like U shape with the growth of the time of founding.
