In Postcolonial Ecocriticism： Literature,Animals,Environment,Graham Huggan and Helen Tiffin intend to bring postcolonialism and ecocritism together from an interdisciplinary point of view.This paper argues that postcolonial ecocriticism attempts to blur the line between human and animal and thus to undermine the theoretical basis for colonization.Addressing such hot topics as inter-specific justice and the connection between race and ecology,postcolonial ecocriticism opens a new territory for literary criticism.
