当代美国“跨太平洋诗学”研究概述

A Survey of "Trans-Pacific Poetics" Studies in Contemporary America

20世纪以来,美国诗人一直自觉地从东方的文化语篇中融汇"异质文化"诗歌和诗学来丰富自己的创作灵感和形式,他们汲取东方最优秀、最复杂、最富挑战和最强大的文化思想,构思出多种方式来理解展现在我们眼前的全球化世界,正是这些思路组成了"跨太平洋诗学"的广阔空间。由于中国哲学、宗教、美学思想对美国诗学影响具有悠久的历史,因而"跨太平洋诗学"能从更宏大的角度、更多元的路径探讨两岸诗学交流的各种模式和渠道,它摆脱了文本研究的狭隘空间,以互文旅行、翻译、历史、反向诗学、虚无等方法对美国文学进行阐释,体现了解读美国文学的多元化方法。

Since the early 1900s,generations of American poets have consciously appropriated the Other＇s poetry to enrich traditional English verse forms.The best,and the most sophisticated,challenging and powerful cultural ideas from Eastern Asia contribute to American poets＇ understanding of the globalized world,constituting the dynamic and heterocultural nature of ＂transpacific poetics＂.Given the historical influence of Chinese poetry and philosophy upon American poets,a study of the ＂transpacific poetics＂ in contemporary America suggests ways in which the interaction between Chinese poetry and American poetry could be examined.This essay,for example,demonstrates how ＂transpacific poetics＂ investigates American literature in terms of inter-textual travel,translation,imagination,emptiness and so on.
