An Investigation of the Chanting Ceremony in Meili Geng Temple in Baotou

仪式往往反映了一个文化的总体社会现象,它作为某一文化历史与现实的缩影,梅力更召庙的诵经仪式在各种文化的冲击下,现状不容乐观,这一文化形态传播覆盖面在日渐缩小,后继乏人现象比较突出。为寻求梅力更召庙诵经仪式的当代生存发展之路,需要保护传统文化活态传承的创造者和传播者。

Ceremony tends to reflect a general social and cultural phenomenon.As an epitome of cultural history and reality,the chanting ceremony of Meili Geng Temple is looking for a modern road of survival and development under the impacts of various cultures.Based on fieldwork,this paper analyzes the current development of Meili Geng Temple using the method of ethnomusicology,further elaborates that we should protect the creators and communicators of the traditional cultural living heritage.
