The relationship between wife and concubine was an important problem in the Chinese marriage history,which was reflected in the dramas both of Yuan and Ming Dynasty,but presented different styles.The dramas in Yuan Dynasty displayed mutual opposition between wife and concubine,and the writers questioned the polygamy.The romances in Ming Dynasty displayed harmony between wife and concubine,and the writers tended to praise the polygamy.The difference on marriage ideas in the dramas between Yuan and Ming Dynasty was rooted in the writers＇ different social positions and creating concepts in indifferent times.
