摘要
通过对典型理论的分析和解释及典型理论对网上新闻英语研究的应用,可以看出,网上新闻英语在词汇方面,以基本层次词汇作为典型意义,兼顾上、下位词汇,由典型意义映射到边缘意义,重视词汇的隐喻和转喻。
Analysis of the prototype theory and its application to research into online English news indicates that as for vocabulary of online English news, words with basic levels serve as the prototype meaning, both covering superordinate and subordinate ones, from prototype meaning to meaning of brink and attaching importance to lexical metaphor and metonymy.
