后现代主义小说中的“物化”景观解读

The Reification Landscape in Postmodernist Fiction

物化的概念和根源既有马克思主义政治经济学或西方马克思主义者卢卡奇等社会历史学的解释,也有弗洛伊德的精神分析学解释。而后现代主义小说中的物化或拜物既有19世纪末盛行的唯美主义背景,更有20世纪初滥觞的现代主义背景。本文主要借用物化的概念,并以美国后现代主义小说的一些经典作品为个案展开分析,来讨论后现代主义小说中较为普遍的物化景观,指出后现代主义小说创作所遵循的独特的物化——反物化模式。

The reification concept is not only rooted in Marxist political economy or Georg Lukács＇ social history, but also in Freudian psychoanalysis. Besides, the reification concept in postmodernist fiction has its background of both aestheticism and modernism prevalent at the end of the 19th century and in the early 20th century. Through the application of the reification concept and with some American postmodernist canonical novels as case studies, the present article unfolds the reification landscape more common in postmodernist fiction and points out the unique postmodernist writing model of reification and anti-reification.
