敦煌研究院藏甘丹寺金羊年铜釜考

A Study on the Copper Kettle Dated back to the Golden Sheep Year from the Ganden Monastery in the Collection of Dunhuang Academy

敦煌研究院收藏有一口甘丹寺金羊年铜釜,釜内外皆有藏文铭文。铜釜铸造于1751年,由七世达赖喇嘛题写颂词,并于1753年亲自为此铜釜开光。

the Dunhuang Academy has a copper kettle from the Ganden Monastery dated from the golden sheep year,which has Tibetan inscriptions both inside and outside. It was made in 1751. The seventh Dalai Lama wrote a eulogy and unveiled it in 1753.
