高职行业英语改革初探

A Preliminary Research on the Reformation of Professional English on the Basis of Local Economic Development

世界经济的深入发展使中国的经济活动与世界联系越来越紧密,许多行业,如市场营销、旅游、对外贸易等行业对从业人员的行业英语能力提出了更高的要求。为了适应社会对人才的需要,各高职院校纷纷开设了行业英语课程。但是,目前行业英语教学处于初期的摸索阶段,仍存在相当多的问题和不足。本文结合本校行业英语教学实践,从本地区的经济发展角度出发,分析了行业英语教学中存在的问题,并提出了一些对策。

The development of global economy in depth makes the link between China＇s economic activities and the world become much closer.Many professions,for example,market management,travel,foreign trade and many other professions,make higher request to their workers.In order to adapt to the needs of society for talents,the higher vocational schools have been starting professional English program.However,professional English teaching is also at its beginning and has many problems and insufficiency.Based on the practice of professional English teaching in my school,this article analyzes the problems in professional English teaching and tries to put forward countermeasures from the point of local economic development.
