推进城乡教育一体化的核心目标是进一步缩小城乡教育差距,实现农村教育的新发展。城乡教育一体化可分解为城乡义务教育一体化、城乡学前教育一体化、城乡职业教育一体化和城乡继续教育一体化。现阶段推进城乡教育一体化的基本路径是:加强对农村教育发展的支持;深化教育体制改革;将分步实施与统筹兼顾有机结合起来;坚持试点先行。

The core goal of the integration of urban and rural education is to further narrow the disparity of urban and rural education and to achieve the new development of rural education. The integration of urban and rural education would be decomposed into the integration of urban and rural compulsory education, preschool education, vocational education and continuing education. The basic path to promote the integration of urban and rural education lies in enhancing the support to rural education development, cracking the city and countryside dual structure, deepening education system reform, combining the step-by-step implementation and overall arrangements and insisting in the accordance with the pilot.
